Stairlift Installation Across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW

The Gold Coast and Northern NSW are home to some of the most beautiful residential areas in Australia — but many of those homes are built on hilly terrain, with split levels, external stairs, and elevated entries that become a real challenge when mobility changes. If the stairs in your home are making daily life difficult or unsafe, a stairlift can give you back your independence without having to leave the home you love.

Bespoke Mobility is based right here on the Gold Coast, which means faster response times, local knowledge, and a team that understands the homes in this region. We provide stairlift supply, installation, and servicing across the entire Gold Coast, Tweed Shire, and Northern NSW.

Areas We Cover on the Gold Coast

We service the full length of the Gold Coast from Coolangatta and Currumbin in the south through to Burleigh Heads, Miami, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Southport, Labrador, Runaway Bay, Hope Island, Helensvale, Oxenford, and Coomera in the north. We also cover the Gold Coast hinterland including Mudgeeraba, Nerang, Robina, Varsity Lakes, and Tamborine Mountain.

Areas We Cover in Northern NSW

We service the Tweed region including Tweed Heads, Banora Point, Kingscliff, Cabarita Beach, and Murwillumbah. We also cover the Byron Bay region including Ballina, Lennox Head, Bangalow, and Brunswick Heads, as well as Lismore and the Northern Rivers.

If your area isn't listed, call us — we likely cover it or can make arrangements.

Stairlifts for Sydney Homes

The housing stock in this region creates some specific stairlift requirements that we know well from years of working locally.

Many Gold Coast homes are built on sloping blocks, particularly in suburbs like Mudgeeraba, Tamborine Mountain, Currumbin Valley, and across the hinterland. These properties often have long external staircases from street level or the garage up to the main living area. An outdoor stairlift rated for the subtropical climate — including UV, humidity, heavy rain, and salt air near the coast — is often the right solution for these homes. Read our guide on indoor vs outdoor stairlifts for more on what's involved.

Highrise and lowrise apartment living is common along the coastal strip from Coolangatta to Southport. While lifts handle the building access, many units within older complexes have internal stairs between split levels that can become a problem. A straight stairlift is usually the simplest solution in these situations.

Queenslander-style homes in the Tweed and Northern Rivers often have elevated timber construction with steep external stairs. These homes can be fitted with outdoor stairlifts that follow the staircase line and handle the weather conditions typical of the subtropical coast.

Newer two-storey homes across Coomera, Pimpama, Ormeau, and the northern corridor typically have straightforward internal staircases well suited to a straight stairlift — the most affordable and quickest option to install.

Servicing and Repairs

We provide stairlift servicing and maintenance across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. Annual servicing is recommended for indoor stairlifts, six-monthly for outdoor installations — particularly important in the coastal subtropical climate.
